Introducing EQUALIZE, a full-day music production workshop series for women and non-binary songwriter and composer members.

Presented with Abbey Road Institute Australia, Music And Effects and Music Victoria, EQUALIZE is designed for APRA AMCOS members who have a basic operative understanding of music production and who are keen to further build their technical skills and industry knowledge to become a producer - whether that is to produce their own work and/or the work of others.

Attendees will spend the day in small groups for genre-based studio instruction in one of three areas:

+ Music composition for Film and TV ** takes place at Music And Effects **
with Philip Brophy (composer, sound designer, filmmaker), Bryony Marks (screen composer), Jan Skubiszewski (composer and producer)

+ Electronic/pop music production - Jane Hanley pka Kids At Midnight (Ableton Certified Trainer), Stacey Wilson (sound engineer) and Woodes pka Elle Graham (singer/songwriter/producer)

+ Recording and producing bands in the studio - with Bonnie Knight (recording engineer/mixer), Nao Anzai (producer/mixer) and Melbourne band HEXDEBT
