Victorian musos - get your APRA Live Performance Returns submitted.

12 Aug 2010

Calling all APRA songwriters: it’s time to submit your live performance returns & receive your royalty payments.

In November last year APRA distributed $4 million to approximately 18,000 songwriters.

Submitting your LPRs is an essential step in the process to receiving your royalty payments for live performances – they let APRA know what you?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ve performed, where you?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ve performed and how often.

Head to the APRA Member Log-in and complete your Live Performance Return for performances during the 09-10 financial year (1 July 2009 ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú 30 June 2010). Submit your LPR by Tuesday 31 August and in November you will receive your royalties.

If you need help with your LPR, APRA are hosting LPR Connecting Member meetings in all capital cities during August. Come down and meet your local APRA Writer Services Representative as they guide you through the LPR process. Victorian members can meet with your local representatives Con & Sibylla on Tuesday 24 August at 6pm at the APRA Offices, 3-5 Sanders Place, Richmond. RSVP via the APRA site.
