Dance Aid - Queensland flood relief benefit gig

13 Jan 2011

Australians have, without hesitation, always dug to deep in times of turmoil; and now we must once again unite, in order to offer relief to our fellow Australians affected by the devastating floods in Queensland.

Dance Aid will see the elite of the Australian Dance music industry come together to put on one incredible show.

Some of the biggest names in the business including Grant Smillie, Ruby Rose, Nervo Twins, The Stafford Brothers, Kaz James, Hook N Sling, The Potbellez, TV Rock, Zoe Badwi and many more have generously donated their time to this event.

360 Agency Director Grant Smillie believes, “It’s not time to sit idly by and not contribute towards this disaster on our very own doorstep. The dance music scene, much like its rock partner, needs to rally together; as combined we create a pretty compelling opportunity to raise funds. The support from our

DJ’s has been nothing short of amazing with artists flying in at their own expense to take part in Dance AID. We’ve managed in less than 24 hours to pull together an amazing lineup that is still growing. I am looking forward to the 19th January where we can hopefully raise upwards of $40,000 for victims of this tragedy.”

WHEN: Wednesday 19th January 2011, 7.00pm
WHERE: Prince of Wales Bandroom, Fitzroy St, St Kilda

Tickets are $40.00 and available through Moshtix.

All proceeds are being donated to the Queensland Premier?䬺s Disaster Relief Appeal.
